Anzac Day Service will be held on Sunday, 25 April, 2010.
Dawn Service will be held in the Camden RSL Memorial Rose Garden commencing at 5.45am. Guests,ex service personnel and members of the community are requested to be seated by 5.35am. Cawdor Road from the Sports Club to Barsden Street will be closed from 5.15am to 6.45am.
Guest Speaker will be Captain Ray Stanley .
THE ROUTE WILL BE THE SAME AS 2009
The Main Service will be held in Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park Memorial, Cawdor Road commencing at 10.45am. The Anzac Day March will assemble from 10.00am in ELIZABETH Street, the march will commence at 10.30am via Arygle Street, Cawdor Road to Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park (right opposite the Camden RSL Club Limited)
Please be seated by 10.35am. The Guest Speaker will be Mr Dudley Hannaford Ex POW - Air Force Ex Serviceman
ALL COMMUNITY GROUPS AND SCHOOLS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE IN THE MARCH - THEY CAN ALSO LAY A WREATH AT EITHER OF THE TWO SERVICES. PLEASE TELEPHONE THE SUB BRANCH ON 0419925294 AND REGISTER YOUR INTEREST.via the internet on beauley@bigpond.net.au
Admittance to the Camden RSL Club after the march will be all Ex Service Personnel who marched, all members of the Camden RSL Sub Branch who could not march, Legacy Widows and the Disabled with (One) carer only.
Members of the public will be admitted after the above have entered the Club, Management and Security will be on the doors and we ask for your assistance.
The doors will not be opened until the Camden RSL Sub Branch President has arrived with the Official Guests on the Day
Camden RSL Club dress rules will apply from 12 Noon.
An Anzac Day Service will also be held at Carrington Retirement Village on Friday 23rd April, 2010 commencing at 10.30am.
