The Camden ANZAC Fun Run will be held on Sunday 2nd May, 2010 within the Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park Area, Cawdor Road, CAMDEN. This is a 10km run, 5km Run and Walk.
This is a joint between Camden Council, Macarthur Lions and the Camden RSL Sub Branch.
Entry forms can be obtained via Camden Council website, ww.camden.nsw.gov.au under the heading of the fun run, sports stores in the Macarthur Area, Camden RSL Club Limited, entries can also be done on the day from 7.30am and close at 8.45am promptly Close date for mail entries Tuesday 27 April, 2010 or facsimile to Camden Council fax number 4645 5025.
The Fun Run will start at 9am prompt. Allow sufficient time to get to the start line.
Parking is available off Cawdor Road, just follow the signs and if by bus it is located 300 metres from the Camden Shopping Centre.
Buses run from Campbelltown to Camden Shopping Centre. Check with Busways for bus times.
Chest numbers will be issued on the day if you have registered within two weeks of the event or they will be posted out if you register ahead of time..
Baggage Minding will be located next to the registration area.
Presentation will take place in the registration area
at approximately 11am.
After the event - Bring a hat and sunscreen as the weather could be warm during the presentation and for the barrel draw.
There will be a 10 km and 5 5 km RUN. Walkers are welcome to particiapte in the 5 km event.
Mark one event ONLY on your entry form. PLEASE NOTE: THAT SPIKES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE WORN DURING THIS EVENT.
CATEGORIES: (5 Kilometre run)
7 TO 10, 11 TO 15, 16 TO 25, 26 TO 35, 36 TO 49 AND 50 YEARS AND OLDER
10 kilometre run categories:
25 years and under, 26 to 35,36 to 49 and 50 years and older.
Walkers are welcome to participate in the 5 kilometre event and there is a cut off time of 2 hours.
Teams: Teams may be entered into the categories listed below. A team can have any number of members, the combined times of the first four members of the team to cross the finish line will be used to determine the results.
All team entries must be submitted together in one envelope by Monday 28 April, 2008. You can only be a member of one team.

Primary School - ages 8 to 11 years
High School -Junior High 12 to 15years and Senior High 16 to 19yrs

Prizes:
Outwright winners and place getters in the 10km and 5km run are not eleigle for a prize or trophy in the individual age categories.
10KM Fun Run
.- Outright 1st male and Female - $75
- 2nd place Male and Female - $50
- 3rd place Male and Female - $30
5KM Run
- Outright 1st Male and Female - $ 75
- 2nd place Male and Female - $50
- 3rd Place Male and Female - $30
Medals:
1st, 2nd and 3rd in each individual age catergory will receive a medallion.
In the teams categories, winning teams will receive a trophy and the first four members of the winning team to complete the course will receive an individual medal.
Barrel Draw Prizes
To be entered in the barrel draw you must hand your timing slip in at the finish area.
To be awarded a barrel draw prize you must be present when the draw takes place. The presentation will start at approx 11.30am followed by the barrel draw.
